Welcome to Ning Avatars (alpha)
The idea here is to provide an easy way to integrate user avatars on your ning applications.

To display an user img is very simple, just call this url changing the parameters:
http://avatar.ning.com?user=username&size=imagesize
It returns a square image file of the given size and username
optional parameters:
- app
- your apps name (users can set app specific avatars)
- default_img
- a image to show when the user dont hava an avatar

Another optional parameter was introduced today: default_img. Use it if you want to change the default image for users without an avatar

Gravatar Support
You can also use your Gravatar on the add avatar screen. If you have suggestions of other services to integrate please let us know.

Flickr buddyIcon Support
Now you can use your Flickr userIcon on the add avatar screen, just select on the drop down menu and insert your Flickr username.

Added a forum to get more feedback, please drop a message. It's a clone of the discuss board app adapted to work under a subdirectory, so it may have bugs :P

Minor changes on AddAvatar.php
Updated the Add Avatar form to be PHP only, once that xn:addContent XNHTML elements currently have a bug regarding special characteres like ç and ã. Thanks to
Murilo for submiting an avatar description that crashed the system :)
